Geaux Saints
Well, I'm sending some Saints Love to you all! I feel as though I put a gri gri on the Saints the last couple of games. I have to admit I was rooting for the Cowboys, and before you know it my boys won! Then, just messing with everyone I was rooting for Tampa (as a complete joke around the house) and Tampa won. Crazy...so now I'm serious! Come on Saints! Heather as you say *clap clap*.

Guest Designer @ Kitz Girlz
Well I must say Aymee has blown my mind! I just love all of her projects that she came up with using the materials in the Kitz 2 Go. She used one technique that I am in love with and I plan on using in an upcoming class so get ready to make some faux pleats! If you would like to check out her blog click here. We did sell all of these kits, but if you are interested we are making a few more, and we are only waiting for a few sheets of paper to come in. So call the store asap 337-216-9898 or go to www.trmemories.com and email Janet and let her know you are interested. I am sure they will go fast! I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Stay tuned for our next kit which will be birthday celebrations (everyone has one!) and then the next kit will celebrate Louisiana and the two layouts will consist of Mardi Gras and the Saints. Can't wait!

Welcome Aymee!!!
Our 2nd guest designer here at Kitz 2 Go is Aymee Gandy. I have enjoy reading her blog and getting great inspiration from her! Please read below to find out more about Aymee and she will give you her take on our kit in just a few weeks!
My name is Aymee Gandy (aka: Southernbellescrapper). I am 26 years old. I live in Carlisle, PA, but am originally from Russellville, AL. I have been happily married to my high school sweetheart, Brandon, for 7 fabulous years. I currently do not have any children of my own, but do want them in the near future. I have been scrapbooking for about 3 years and have loved every minute of it. It is such a creative outlet for me and I have made so many wonderful friends through scrapbooking. It has really helped me come into my own and teach me so many valuable lessons. I love meeting fellow scrapbookers and sharing our passion together. If you would like, I'd love for you to hop on over to my blog for a visit...http://www.southernbellescrapper.blogspot.com/. I'd love to hear from you! When I am not scrapbooking, I love to read, cook, travel, decorate my home, and just spend time relaxing with friends/family. I would like to thank Janet and Wendy for this exciting opportunity. I am so honored to have the chance to work with the Kitz Girlz!!!

Frog Fetish
Titles can be challenging...especially when you've done as many frog layouts as I have. Someone gave me the title "Road Toad" which we did find him in the road, but he was surely not a toad...he was a huge Louisiana Bullfrog. I have to say, I have never been afraid of a frog, but I was of this one. He was MAD that we caught him. He was surely lost...we found him in front of our house late at night...we had fun with him and then let him loose down by the bayou the next morning. He was barking at us he was so mad...to say the least I didn't even hold this one! Products used: Prima stars and flowers. Printed postcard, prima studs, martha stewart punch and a few other items that I can't recall the names of. Hope you like!

Be Inspired
Once again Donna Downey has inspired me. If you are her friend on facebook she has been allowing us to come along for a ride while she has been giving her studio a facelift. I have to say, what scrapbooker doesn't have chaos??? Well, I sure do and it seems as though I can never keep things picked up. I am utterly embarrassed to show you my scrapbook room, but I will just don't be too shocked at the mess. I would love so much to fix my room up a little, but that takes some $$ and with Christmas coming up, I tend to be put on the back burner......so......today I decided to buy myself a little christmas present. Do you see those lamps...Merry Christmas. The lighting in my room was very poor and you know how terribly I see to begin with. I have wanted lamps for a long time. Next, I hope to buy 2 more for my scrapbook table. Well, the next two pictures are scary! My visions for my room would be to one day have built in cabinets. I'm one of those people that like to hide everything. I actually didn't put the picture of my closet...which is where I store all of my materials. It is somewhat organized, but I'd like a better system, but haven't figured that out yet. Anyway, I would love built in and I'd like to take my antique scrap table and put it in front of the window, would love a new computer chair, something much smaller and would love a new rug. Isn't there a show out there where they organize you? If so I need it! Please give me ideas on organizing, I would love to hear your thoughts. Until tomorrow's layout post have a great night!
Oldies but Goodies
Well my title reads...new friends in old places. We are actually old friends in new places, but, being that the old school house in Washington, LA is older than our friendship I thought I would title my page according to that. I have actually known Connie and Janet for about 10yrs. We have had some great times in the past and I look forward to many more times with these ladies. They keep me laughing all the time and you never know what's going to happen when your with these ladies.
Products used in this layout are: Basic Grey: Nook and Pantry, thickers, prima flowers and vines, vintage record and other items, prima canvas letters and a handmade peony flower (which by the way I will be teaching in a few months) sent to me from a fellow blogger. Hope you enjoy this layout, Janet also did one with the same pictures...It is so much fun working with her and coming up with 2 totally different layouts. One lady asked us at the crop if we were sisters...guess we fight like we are.

UFP
So, what does UFP stand for? Unidentified Flying Pumpkin. As many of you read, Drew was an alien for Halloween and so we entered the pumpkin decorating/carving contest. We made a UFP and it was a hit. He took 1st place and I think we might have started a craze for next years competition.
Some Supplies Used: Little Yellow Bicycle paper, some older than old blue printed halloween paper, thickers, felt spider webs, prima bling, Pink Paislee scalloped paper, prima stars and eyelets, and alien head from space chipboard set.

Off to the Lady Bug Lodge
Yes, I am somewhat ready for a weekend full of cropping, visiting with friends and making new friends. Paula is having her crop again, out at the LadyBug Lodge. It is a no frills just fun crop. Which is just what I enjoy, there are no schedules or make n takes...just lots of cropping. She is making us a Gumbo for Saturday night which is a nice added touch this time. I hope that I crank out some quick layouts to help get me caught up on my own stuff. I'll post pictures as soon as possible...stay tuned!

Knee Bone... Connected to Your ...Leg Bone
What's in the middle? Well, I didn't realize we had things in our calves that could go POP! Yesterday while playing an awesome tennis match, we only needed to win 1 last game to win the match....and I ran for a ball and "POP" I fell to my knees if hurt so bad. Well, to say the least I have pulled or torn something, not sure what, but I can't walk! Debating on whether to go to the doctor. I must say, I am really busy right now with all my classes coming up. I surely don't have much time for this to be taking place. But, I will say............It was so worth it! I hobbled around long enough win that last game and we won!!! Well, okay so I was at the net and didn't have to move and my partner Sheryll worked her tail off the last game. Sheryll you Rock!! Of course those girlies we played didn't feel too bad for me they kept hitting the ball straight to me (at least they hit them to me, because I wasn't moving!!!) They actually wanted me to forfeit the game...were they insane??? Well, I was playing a lady who was an emergency room doctor, but I wasn't giving in or going down that easy. Go R4!!! So to all of you who are taking my class next Tuesday, have some mercy on me please! We'll have fun, being that I can't move around, I'm at least getting instructions made, and I think today I may prop my leg up and scrapbook a little for Ms. Lahaye.

November Class at TM
Good morning fellow scrappers. Just wanted to take this time to post my November Calendar Class. Although my 3 classes are full, there are always cancellations that must be made so if you are still interested in getting on the waiting list please call the store at 216-9898.
This is the write up for the class. "Wendy has created a beautiful fall layout! First of all, you will be working with SEI's flocked texture papers! It's been awhile since we used sei papers in a class, but we couldn't resist because the colors and textures were just perfect!!! Techniques??? This layout is full of them. How Wendy comes up with new techniques every month is a mystery to me, but this month she is going to show you how to create your own wooden fence from scratch! We are also using the Prima butterfly vines and a bunch of Ranger and Tim Holtz products. She's going to teach you an all new way to create an antique look with Tim Holtz Rock Candy and......sorry I can't tell you.....you have to take the class! All I can say is that Wendy is amazing!" Thanks Janet for the nice description.

Alien Invasion
Drew and I have been working and slaving away down in our basement...we've been like some mad scientists making something eerie and spooky! The school "Boo Bash" was tonight and Drew went as an alien. We did our homework and found the most awesome pumpkin to make...and it just happened to be an "unidentified flying pumpkin" how cool was that! We carved, scooped guts, spray painted, cricutted, we hot glued, we cut and we even stickled! It was rather funny, I over heard a mom saying how cool the pumpkin was and the other mother said, "oh that's for a child who's mom is a scrapbooker." Like we're in some sort of a scrapbooking cult! It was so funny. Anywhoooo.....Drew WON 1st place for his pumpkin! YEAH! We had so much fun, this has been our tradition every year, and this year it was the best, they had games, food and fun...they even had two singing celebrities back from the dead...Elvis and Michael Jackson. The cheerleaders even did a routine to Thriller...what a great family friendly environment! Thank you SBS for making our HALLOWEEN so much fun!

Pumpkin Decorating
Tomorrow night is the Boo Bash at school and Drew decided he wanted to enter he and Dax into the pumpkin carving/decorating contest. Here are a few pics of the beginning stages of the very serious decorating mission. Drew is making a Unidentified Flying Pumpking...this goes along with his new identity of an alien. Dax wanted to make a pirate. We finished Dax's up (no carving involved) and tomorrow we will put the finishing touches on Drew's pumpking...good luck my little goblins!
Three silly pirates took over my kitchen!Dax @ TM IS....
This year, I wasn't prepared for the IS (Imagination Studio) over at Treasured Memories. I actually am the one who decorated it this year, but I had all intentions on this day to take Dax to the pumpkin patch (hence, the nice green shirt) but it has rained and rained and rained some more...and I just wasn't going to go fuss with all that mud. We ended up going to TM for something and ended up taking a few pics here. Well, let me just say...Dax is not my photogenic child...he just doesn't like taking pictures like Drew does, or maybe he's going through a phase that I forgot about. So here are a few of the ones that I captured without him sticking his tongue out. Happy Halloween! Oh and here are a few pics of my cutie pie last year...he has grown so much!
Darien GOT Mail!
Darien rec'd her shadowbox frame today. I was chomping at the bit to post the picture, but she asked that I wait until she rec'd it, so it would be a surprise. Well, the US Post Office, I have to give them a big round of applause! They were so kind to help me package it up so that it wouldn't get broken and within 2 days Darien got it! She was so shocked and I hope she liked it as much as I enjoyed making it for her. I had such an awesome response for my first give-away and I want to Thank everyone who joined in on the fun. I hope to do another give-away around Christmas time. So, I must say Darien and I have corresponded a little and I just love visiting her blog and seeing all her works of art.

Thank You
I want to take this time to "Thank" the ladies who came over to TM this month to take my monthly calendar class. I had a total of 60+ women who came to this class or purchased the kit. I had ladies that traveled from Alexandria, Houma and Shreveport to take the class...what an honor! It is a continued honor to teach my monthly regulars as well! I had several mother/daughter teams to come this month and I just love that you are sharing your love of scrapbooking with your girls, what a great way to get them into a wonderful lifelong hobby. Again, many thanks to you all! I just adore seeing you each month and hope to see you in Novemeber...we'll have some wonderful new techniques to learn! Take care and Happy Scrapping until then.....

Guest Designer @ Kitz Girlz
I just love this time of year, cooler temperatures, falling leaves and I just love getting prepared for Halloween. This year so many companies put out some really cool Halloween papers and products. As you all know I am Kitz Girl #1 over at Kitz 2 Go and each time we come out with a Kit we will have a Guest Designer to help show you some different takes on what you get with our kitz. Our kitz include all the products and instructions to make 2 - 2 page layouts. Our guest designer comes up with alternatives to our kit. What is nice about the kit is if you are a busy mom left with no creative juices we will help you out and make your layouts fast and easy! I am so excited to show you what Frances came up with...they are just awesome and very creative. She did add a few things such as eyelets and buttons that are not included in the kit. Would love to hear your thoughts and comments! We have sold most of these kitz but if your interested we have a couple left...they are sure to go fast. You can order them at www.trmemories.com and we can ship to you as well!
