Sneak Peak!

Well, you remember all of those dreams I had concerning the September Calendar Class...it all changed when Basic Grey came walking through the door at TM. The colors were so beautiful and very fallish looking. I hope you all like the little sneak peak that I'm giving you. Believe me the papers are just gorgeous. We will be using Vintage Glass Glitter, a beautiful gold ink by Tsukineko in which you will use the jumbo daubers and the new line of Basic Grey papers and sticker sheet. Enjoy!

Scrap N A Snap

This was a real quick 1 pager. I used a printed Ragin Cajun paper, Jenni Bowlin note paper and stamps.
This was a quick lift from MD. Used 4th of July paper, Jenni Bowlin paper, red cardstock and chipboard letters.
Used scalloped cardstock, Bo Bunny paper, K&Co Silver glitter letters, Prima flowers with stickled centers. Loved making this layout, not something I usually do...pictures of rainbows. I even attached two photos to make a larger picture, turned out kinda cool.
I journaled on Little Yellow Bicycle paper using my computer and two peas font. The rest of the paper is also Little Yellow Bicycle.
A quick beach l/o, need to finish up Destin trip. I thought this was interesting paper when I saw it, kinda reminded me of Drew with the surfer so went with it and did the best that I could.
Well, as you can see I've been busy. Jonathan played in a weekend long tournament so when I put Dax down for naptime I hit the scrapbook room. I cranked out many layouts, much more than if I would have been at the store. I think when I'm at the store I talk too much...but then again that's why I go. It was fun cropping at my house, it made me use things that I've had forever. But I think I much rather crop with friends. Missed all of you Friday night. I actually have a touch of a cold and just didn't feel up to par for Friday night. Hope you all had a great time and got alot accomplished.

P.S. If your taking the August l/o class don't forget it's coming up!

Back To School

Staying on top of things is my motto for the school year. This past school year was the first time that I was behind. Before I knew it the new school year was fast approaching and I had not finished all of his stuff from the previous year. I put it in fast gear and finished everything up the day before the new year was to start. I went yesterday and got a new album. I actually have started a new collection of albums (pioneer with snap hinges) and they from now on will all be red for Drew, Blue for Dax and Black for the family. Yes, I'm OCD about stuff like that. I think I may even go back and put all my old stuff in new albums so they will all match. My first l/0 is awaiting their school pictures, which were taken yesterday. On the lines provided Drew will write his name, teachers name and school year. He has done this since Kindergarden and its fun to see how his handwriting has changed over the years. The paper and rub-on is by Moxxie, the stars are by bazzill and the lined rub-on is by Glitz (I think). This was Drew's first day of school. I just love the picture of the principal greeting Drew as he got out of my car. My dearest friend Monica snapped this picture for me and got it to me so I could get it printed (within 1 day, that's awesome)...Thanks Monica...I'll have your back at one of the school functions. It has been really nice having Drew and Braydon in the same class for the last 3 yrs, we always help each other out on pictures if one of us can't make it. Anyway, on this l/o I uesed Bisou paper. Fun huh??? I loved cutting it up and placing it all around. I even made a pocket with a picture and journaling. Enjoy!!!

Saturday Night FEVER

Saturday was a very long day and night for me. Last minute I was asked to play tennis and I couldn't resist. I decided to go straight from tennis to TM because that meant more scrapbooking!!! After the doors closed the employees got together for a little crop. I have never laughed somuch in my life...no that's not true...but we always have so much fun when we get together. Janet and I believe the reason we get along so well, is that we are so much alike............. The Yum-E layout is a little boring, but you know they can't all be a work of art.
I thought I'd have so much fun making this layout, but boy was I wrong...it took me (well I'd rather not say) a lonnnnngggg time to finish. The butterflies are made with Black majic and the cuttlebug.
This layout was my favorite for the night. It had all those things that I don't get to use often, bling, butterflies, pastel colored papers, and flowers. As you can see, there is no pictures of my boys in this layout so I could put the flowers without feeling guilty!
I even incorporated metal bugs in the cluster of embellishments. Love the prima bling.
Please leave comments love to hear your thoughts.

A Few More Projects

This is a layout that I finished a couple of weeks ago but just now getting it posted. I knew when I saw this paper at CHA it was not necessarily my taste, but something about it I liked. It actually reminds me of my grandmother, Nonie. She loves this color blue. Anyway, the paper is K & Co., the Flowers are prima and the bling is Prima. I cut out some of the shells and used them in the clusters of flowers.
Okay, I also saw these albums at CHA @ K & Co., I liked the idea that you just had to add pictures. I know from people walking into TM that some people don't really want to scrapbook but want a book that's all done for you. I don't know if Janet has sold many of them or not, but the other day I decided to get this particular one to put photos of my mom and dad's family in it. I have wanted to complete a heritage album but never have the time so here's what I did.
This is how the page comes. Pretty plain and boring
This is what I did to it. Just added flowers and a few embellishments that I had. Note: I must say look how beautiful my mom was just after having a baby! But then again she was so over-joyed by having me! Hahaha just kidding! Oh- and yes that is me with all that black hair!
