Hello Scrappy Ladies!!! I'm back and I've made the cutest layout to share with you!  This is a little sneak peek of the layout.  I am waiting on one little item to come in before I share the whole layout with you.  So for now, I'm leaving you with a little teaser!

Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler

Well,  as you can see I love decorating about as much as I love scrapbooking.  It's just another way for me to create.  I have always decorated for most of the holidays since we built our house...and each year it just gets more and more!

I put this up in stages and as I added the gold ornaments, I was on the phone....I am a mom and a multi-tasker! So as you can see I didn't quite pay attention to their locations, as I would have spaced them out a little better if I would have not been multi-tasking- LOL.
I love the large masks that I incorporated into the swag. Some of the items are left over from past years, but I find that the mesh ribbon has to be changed out, if it gets alot of sun.
Most of you know I've had a fetish for frogs since I was a little girl.  I had a frog high chair, my mother made me a frog b-day cake one year...so its always been a thing of mine.  So of course when I saw these two cuties, I couldn't pass them up.  Speaking of frogs...Dax just got his tadpole eggs in the mail so we are hatching frogs over here!
Just another little something my mom gave me several years ago...a Mardi Gras frog print.  It's time to get this sucker framed, don't you think?!

Well, once I posted my door decorations, my soon-to-be sister -n-law from Galveston couldn't resist! They have Mardi Gras down there, but they just don't get the great decorations that we can get.  She wanted to hired me to come and decorate her door and banisters on her front porch!  I can't wait! But I'm not letting her pay me- I am going to decorate for Mardi Gras and for their wedding and that will be one of their gifts from me!

I hope everyone has a safe Mardi Gras season! And eat lots of King Cake!

Magical Memories

Good Morning all you scrappy people! I had a little fun creating these 2 one-pagers.  I don't make one pagers unless that go at the beginning or ending of my scrapbooks.  I have to say I've always admired one-pagers online, they just look so much better- I don't know why that is.  Anyways, I do enjoy making them.  I wish I could break out of my box and do them in the middle of my books but I just can't stand seeing pages next to each other that don't match.  What are your thoughts on this?

Anyways, I am almost done with this Disney album.  Yeah! I am so happy- do you see how long it has taken me to finish it? We went in 2011.  Now that it is scrapped we can go again!  My kids are getting older and they would go back to Disney, but they'd rather go on a trip to California.  They'd like to start at one end and end up in Oakland to see an Oakland A's game.  That sounds like fun to me- so maybe that will be our main trip for the year.

I have had many requests for me to make these layouts as kits.  But that would be silly, they are so easy to scraplift.  I don't mind people using my personal layouts to make their own, I take that as a compliment.  So if you are making a layout for your own personal book, please feel free to lift these.  I will say many of the items have come from many different stores.  The Mickey is an iron-on that I had gotten from a store in Baton Rouge.  Some of the embellishements are from Hobby Lobby and Joanns and the paper and fabric flowers are from Create 365.

Until next time....Happy Scrapping!
