Getting Ready for Summer Camp

I haven't posted lately because I am busy getting ready for TM's summer camps. The pictures I have posted here are going to be the 10x10 shadow box that the girls will be making. The low down on the camps are as follows. I will be having a Mommy & Me chipboard butterfly book class for ages 6-8 or even 9. This will be held June 9th. I had a parent ask me about doing something for boys...well being that I have a boy, I said sure I'll see what I can come up with, so I decided to have a day for both boys and girls with a project that can be enjoyed by both. So on June 11th we will be creating a cute soccer or baseball chipboard book. The ages are 9 and up without a parent and 6-8 with a parent. The last camp is the big camp that I will be having which will be 3 days of scrapbooking FUN! Day 1: we will make a flower chipboard book full of Heidi Swapp products and bling. Day 2: will be the shadow box full of beautiful flowers, paper, bling and ribbon. Day 3: will be a precious altered notebook, miniature lunch box (good for hold stickles...and the girls will get to pick out 3 bottles of stickles to bring home) and a composition book. All three days will have a subway lunch provided so please call the TM store with any questions at 216-9898 or sign up at trmemories.com Hope to be teaching your child soon and having tons of scrapbooking fun with them!

OMGoodness! You Will NOT Believe your EYES...or MINE

Today, was a very bizarre day. I had two doctors appointments scheduled to prepare for the cataract surgery that I was going to have next week. Well, last week I was seeing so poorly that I decided to throw on my old glasses to see if I could see better with them....and I could. I told the eye doctor this morning (he was getting all of the measurements for my eyes) and so he checked out my eyes and refracted me again, and low and behold my prescription has gone back down, very close to my beginning prescription. He talked me out of doing the cataract surgery and said that he must have been wrong and that the macular swelling must have had alot to do with the blurred vision. He put me back in contacts...but I have to say I'm not seeing perfectly yet, but better. So surgery is OFF for now. I don't know how to feel just yet, on one hand I'm worried that I have made a mistake and it's not going to be that great, but on the other hand I was scared to death about having the surgery. Now, Dr. Leoni did say I will eventually need the surgery, but we should not rush into it if I'm seeing good. We'll see (literally!)

Ms. Linda... ask and you shall receive!

Well, I have been a very BAD blogger lately. I have been so busy with work, kids, family...you all know and understand what I'm talking about. I have not posted in a long time and today in class one of my peeps (Ms. Linda) asked me...please blog soon, I look at your blog often! So here you go Ms. Linda... I hope you enjoy, and I know you wanted pictures of the layouts that I have been working on. Deanna... you haven't seen these layouts yet, though, I don't think you check out blogs, so when you see these in person...act surprised. I hope you loved them...I do and everyone at the store today did too! Thank you all that came today, we had a great class that went very smooth and I look forward to tomorrow's class. If you have questions concerning these layouts feel free to email me. Oh P.S. you all know that I don't take very good pictures, so please remember my pictures don't do my layouts justice.
