A Frame Full of Fun

Wow- how much fun did I have!?! I was so nervous about making these wonderful frames. Michelle, Phylis and Christie all made such awesome frames, that made me want to try one. So I bought 4 of them (one for each of us) and they have been sitting proped up against the wall for about 3 months or more. I just had no clue where to begin or how I wanted them to look. My scrapbook room/office is in primary colors with a mustard color wall so I knew that it would be a little hard to match the colors in my room with the photographs. When making these frames you have to think dimensional so use items such as cardboard boxes stacked to give it a 3D appearance. Of course I forgot to write down the papers I used but there is plenty in the baby boy section @ Treasured Memories. I also you glimmer mist, the sticker chipboards to match the paper line and I used lots of fun ribbon to match. And of course I had to throw in a little bling! Yes- you can do bling on boy l/o's but in small proportions. Hope you like...and please leave me some comments, I always enjoy hearing your thoughts.

Father's Day Class @ TM

Hey all you scrapbookers out there...I finished the Father's Day book that I will be teaching at Treasured Memories. The class will be held on Sunday June 8th. I haven't placed pictures in the book yet, but my suggestions would be to print your pictures in sepia and print pictures 4x6 and wallets. If your interested in making one of these books for your dad on his special day please email me if you have my email address, post here, or call the store. There are only 24 kits being made. Hope to see you in class.

LEAPING LIZARDS

Okay, so I was on the phone with Janet (from TM) this morning and I'm walking around my backyard. All of a sudden these things start running past me along the fence. I started screaming and Janet thought I was nuts. I ran in to get my camera. I have to say I have seen these lizards at my moms house in South Texas once before. When we saw them we freaked out because we had never seen lizards that looked so similiar to iguanas. Anyway, they seem to travel in pairs and they are usually bright green, these were not because they were on the fence and blending in with it. Have any of you ever seen these lizards before...and if so what kind are they?

Creepy!

Tired!!!

Well, I must say I am ready for school to end. I am sure that everyone is feeling a bit tired and ready for relaxation and vacations. I know I am. Between running to baseball practice, piano lessons, school, work, work and more work I'm just pooped! I will not be posting to much because I've taken on one more project that (I think) is a little overwhelming! I am scrapbooking for a lady that has several years worth of high school stuff. I will try to wrap that up as soon as possible so I can get back to my own stuff. As far as classes @ TM are concerned I am trying to finish up a class that will be held in June and then getting my stuff ready for the Creative Kids Camp that will be held in July. If you need more information on these two classes check out Janet's website. Stay tuned.
