Join Us for some SPOOKY Fun!

I've been busy working on my monthly calendar class and I have to say...by far...this is my most favorite layout that I have done to date since teaching this class. The Sunday class is completely full but if you are still interested in getting in on the fun, please let me know by emailing me or signing up through www.trmemories.com. The schedule and sign-ups will begin at the beginning of the month. Many of you who come monthly get the added benefit of signing up early. So, hope you are able to join in on our monthly fun, create an awesome layout and learn tons of techniques! By the way, many of you like the month title...don't worry there will be several title options...I just chose Spooky!
Classes that are open:
Tuesday October 20th at 10:30 (this one fills up fast)
Saturday October 24th at 3:00

If both classes fill I will start a waiting list for a Friday class.

Finishing Up 3rd Grade and Onto 4th

Well, I think I have finally caught up with the last of Drew's 3rd grade year. I actually think I printed these pictures twice, but never could find the first set. I have to say....I NEVER thought I would use that crazy iridescent paper that TM carries, but I DID! And I love the way it looks...it matches Drew helmet perfectly. These pictures were taken last year, not sure what time of the year (thinking Fall) and I'm just now getting to them...is that CRAZY or what!?

This layout was created with the inspiration of Sylvia Frances. I went over to her blog to inform her of the blog post over at www.kitzgirlz.blogspot.com and in the process of doing this I saw a layout that she created for her kids 1st day of school and woohoo she have me some ideas. I didn't have any math flash cards, but I did have some word flash cards so I had fun choosing the one I'd use on this layout. Hope you enjoy!

Announcement Over @ Kitz 2 Go

We have a small announcement over at www.kitzgirlz.blogspot.com Go check it out!

The Bird Says "Tweet Tweet"

Yesterday after my class at TM, I needed to return something at Wal-Mart. So I decided to take the ever-dreaded trip to Wally World. I ended up having a fun little trip and bought a few fun things like a scarecrow, some pumpkins and these fun little Martha Stewart puppets. I have seen them at Michaels on several occasions, but they were kinda expensive for something that will eventually be thrown away. Today, I found them in the clearance section for $1.50. That's a little better, so I decided to get them for Dax. Drew spent the night at a friends house and so this morning it has been quiet with just the two of us at home. So I pulled out the puppet kits and Dax and I had a blast putting these together...and they are actually made with good quality materials so I don't think we will be throwing them away. Dax wants to find the monkey puppet to make next...and you know me, they have a frog...so I'm going to be on the hunt for that one.

Labor Day

I hope you all had a fabulous Labor Day and I hope you did not have to labor too hard! I got up early this morning and headed out the door for a game of tennis. We had such a blast and I played with people I have never played with before! Very enjoyable. The rest of the day was very uneventful, which was a nice for a change. I cleaned my scrapbook room, a little...just enough to be able to work on my table. I completed this very simple 1 page l/0 for Drew's 4th grade album. I ordered his pictures tonight from www.scrapbookpictures.com of his first day of school...so guess what all is good and I am pretty much caught up on his school albums! YEAH FOR ME!!!

Also, Update on the movie All About Steve. If you liked The Hangover then you will also like this movie. The cutie from The Hangover and the little chinese guy were both in this movie and they were once again sooo funny! I did have issues with the way Sandra looked in this movie...I kept hoping they would fix her, but they didn't! Anyways, I give it a 2 Thumbs UP!

Last Couple of Days

Okay, so the count down has begun. Each year at about this time I start to get really nervous. Next week I begin the new year for my preschool computer classes, Laptops and Lollipops. About 6 yrs ago, I started a small business where I travel to different preschools and now mother's day out schools to teach computer lessons. I have no idea why I get so nervous, but I do. Anyhoo...this year I picked up a new school and so my plate just got a little fuller, but I am always up for a challenge. Many people ask how I balance doing so many things...I guess it's just in my nature. When I do get bogged down I love to go to the movies to escape...and that's just what I'm doing with a friend tomorrow. I will get back to you all with a review...I got a bunch of responses from my last review, so maybe you all like my reviews more than my scrapbooking :) hee hee just kidding!

Yes, I am going to see All About Steve. I just love Sandra Bullock and the hottie from the Hangover! I'll get back to you with my thoughts...I already know what I'm going to think about the hottie!
