Karma

Well, let me tell you...Karma comes around and goes around.  I have come to the conclusion there are some evil, not so nice people in the world...and yes I do believe Karma exsists.  This picture says it all!  

I don't think things happen to people because they have done bad.  I do believe that its God's way of trying to teach them to change their behaviors and ways.  Some people learn but some people do not.

I am just very thankful where I am today, how my life has taken the better road and I've done it with my head held high.  I am very THANKFUL to GOD for getting me out of certain situations and putting me right where I belong,  spending quality time with my family and friends.

I prayed for certain things and prayed for a change to take place in my life and it did.  So people believe and trust that God does listen to our prayers!

Birds of a feather....flock together!

Hello all my crafty little birds!  I hope everyone has been busy crafting!  I know sometimes my blog posts are few and far between, but with the crop coming up Amy and I have been super busy getting everything just right for everyone.

This is one of the many kits that I will have available at the crop at the Toadilly Scrapping booth!  My friend, Denise, will be working the booth for me and she is super excited to help you pick out the kit that is perfect for you!

If you are attending the crop, make sure you have found the private group on FB.  There is alot going on behind the scenes for this crop.  They have several swaps taking place and sneakpeeks and pre-orders for some of my kits have been ongoing!

I want to "Thank" everyone who has pre-ordered for their kits, that make this job a little easier knowing how many to make for.  My house has turned into a kit factory and my new kitten loves it! She thinks everything is for her to play with!  

I will try to post back before the crop, but we are down to 43 days...so it may be afterwards.  I plan on posting all of the kits that were made and the ones that may still be available.

New Kit: Mardi Gras

Did you ever wonder why the Mardi Gras colors were chosen?  

Rex, the king of the carnival, selected the official Mardi Gras colors in 1872 to honor the visiting Russian Grand Duke Alexis Alexis Alexandrovich Romanoff, whose house colors were purple, green and gold.

Purple Represents Justice. Green Represents Faith. Gold Represents Power.

I don't know about you but I just love the colors purple, green and gold!  They make for a stunning layout!  This kit will be so much fun to put together!  It comes with everything you see here to make the layout such as: Glitter Cardstock, 3 sheets of cardstock, 2 have been pre-stamped for you, printed paper, Custom printed paper. It has lots of bling, coins, sequins, feathers and mirrors to add to all this fun! Have you ever wondered how to use the mesh ribbon on a layout, well here you go!  It is very easy to work with and I just love it!   Oh and don't forget these 2 super cool chipboard masks that you will get.  They will be spraymisted, stickled and painted for you!

Upcoming Events

Croppin' on the Red has been moved to March 12-15th weekend. I have been asked for the second time to make the layout for the theme.  I just love the Cat in the Hat...so this was super fun to make!  As soon as I get off work I am headed to the crop with some friends to have a scrappy good time! I can't wait! 

 I am also going on a little beach scrap weekend in a few weeks and can I tell you...I have nothing planned for either of these trips....I better get busy!

April 23rd weekend is the 1st Annual 2 Crafty Chicks Event in Sulphur.  We have been super busy getting ready for this event!  We've had a tremendous amount of interest in the crop which is amazing!  We have so much planned for these ladies.  We will have tons (and I mean tons) of doorprizes, a contest with amazing prizes, pizza and pj party, zumba, vendors, massage therapist on site, make in takes, pictures with a photographer, games and so much more.  The shirts and sussies are fantastic! We can't wait!  The crop is sold out, but please if you are interested in getting on the waiting list we will try very hard to help you join in on our fun if there should be some cancellations.
